Catverse is a generative AI application that allows users to digitalize their favourite pets, cats!
Open the app, scan your cat, and there you go, you’ve got a digital copy of your real-life pet! The digital cat will look the same, sound the same and even behave somewhat similar to your feline friend.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
One of the problems of the project was the implementation of a system that recognizes cat fur patterns. For this to work, a machine learning model had to be taught with a proper set of data. This is where CyBearSoft came into play and developed a cat fur pattern random simulator, that generated just the right amount of data for the model.
The solution generates a random spot pattern, puts it on the cat fur texture and wraps it around the 3D model of a cat. The image of this 3D model is later fed to the ML model.
